James Liotta has been working on TV and Film as an Actor and Presenter for over 20 years. During that time he has appeared on numerous TV shows including: Fat Pizza – Back in Business, Hughesy we have a problem, Australia’s Got Talent, Thank God You’re Here, Upper Middle Bogan, Utopia, Underbelly Squizzy, Satisfaction, Paper Giants, Prank Patrol, Quizmania, Neighbours, Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Lift Off, Ground Zero, Under The Hammer and many more.
He has been a regular on Melbourne’s Channel 31 with ongoing presenter roles on Media Strikes Back among various other shows on the network.
James has also had the privilege to co-host alongside Sean Pary, over 30 episodes of the comedy talk show PLANET UNEARTH which began airing on FOXTEL – AURORA. The show later aired a small season of new episodes on CHANNEL 9 GO! during the summer of 2014. James went on to become a co-producer of this show for the Channel 9 season.
Feature film work for James includes roles in: Strange Fits Of Passion, Production Hell, Six Lovers, Revenge Of The Gweilo, TAJ and the award winning Monster Pies. James has already been cast in various roles for up-coming feature films shooting over 2015/2016
James has a long list of short films and corporate videos under his belt which date back over 15 years. Some of which have picked him up best actor awards – namely for his lead role in the dramatic short film Tiramisu’ where he played a character suffering from OCD. James was also a lead cast member of a 2010 TROPFEST FINALIST film ‘Falling Backwards”.
In 2014 James also played a lead role in the American co-orporate series “How To UnMake A Bully”. Volume 4 was shot in Melbourne with James cast in a lead role. The series has been highly successful world wide within schools tackling the issue of Bullying in various forms. James returns with this role in volume 6 shooting July 2015.
In between major performance jobs James has also been cast in numerous TV and Cinema commercials. Some brands include: Medibank, Honda, McCains, Fox Footy, La Porchetta, Swisse, Dolmio, Zafarelli Pasta, Coles, Vic Tourism, Fresha Juice, Vic Roads, Work Safe, Tobin Brothers, Seek.com, Bully Zero Foundation, Dickson Real Estate and in a major promo for The Real Housewives of Melbourne season 2. He has also been cast in various online commercials for websites and social media.
